The French toast and fresh topping bar was really good! I usually don't like French toast but their bread really makes the difference. It's he breakfast sandwich was just ok, not much goat cheese on it but the egg was seasoned and cooked well. Really cute vibe. Good quality overall.

Portage Bay Café is awesome! I tried the breakfast burrito, and it was fantastic--served wet with an egg on the outside, which was such a cool and tasty twist. Definitely my favorite part of the meal. The place has a really chill vibe, and you can tell they care about using fresh, local ingredients. The staff was super friendly and made sure everything was just right. I'll be back for sure when I'm in town for work again. If you're in Seattle and looking for a great breakfast spot, Portage Bay Café should be at the top of your list!

I have wanted to give this place a try ever since we moved to Seattle and I was so glad I did. Brunch on weekends is probably my #1 favorite thing to do. We made reservations for a Sunday. They were pretty busy, so I'm not sure what the wait was like, but I would recommend making them anyway. We both ended up ordering the Joe's scramble. It was DELICIOUS. I didn't need to season it which was very surprising because most restaurants do not season their eggs properly. I also ordered a vanilla oat milk latte which was so good that I ended up ordering a second one. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience here. The service was okay--the server seemed rushed and we didn't speak to them much so I don't really have a comment on that. That being said, this would definitely not deter us from coming back!

We had special menu items- the spicy corn chowder was amazing. The elote style omelette was so good. The jam is like la provance and we love it. I got the dungeonous cream Benedict which was amazing. Next time get sauce on side. So pretty! Everything was delicious.

We love a place with a pet friendly patio! And we also love great food with even better service. Any time I'm in Seattle portage bay is a must. The quality of the food is impeccable and I've never had anything but top notch service at portage bay. Highly recommend the Seattle Benedict or the carnitas Benedict. If you like a more crispy breakfast potato don't forget to ask for them extra crispy as they come not as crispy on their own!

Such a great find! The breakfast bar looked so amazing; huge bowls of blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, delish fresh whipped cream, granolas, etc. ordered the pancakes to get a sampling from this dream and it was everything you'd want. Yum Also ordered a typical brekkie; eggs bacon potatoes and that was also delish. Bacon was perfectly peppered and the eggs covered in Beechers cheese. Yum. And that was just the food. All of the staff were welcoming and inclusive. Highly recommend this spot and f you want to feel welcome and have amazing food.
